I know, I know, the world really doesn’t need another gift guide right now but this is for me. Throughout the year I collect things that spark joy (yup, through my screen) and then store them in a virtual shopping cart of sorts, via a secret Pinterest board called All Mine.
When the holiday season rolls around, I like to peruse all of the things and craft a wish list from said items. Truthfully, I often purchase the small items for myself throughout the year such as cookbooks (it’s an addiction, really) and kitchen things, but it’s also a great way to have ideas at the ready when people ask what you’d like. Presumptuous? Maybe a little. But I like to think of it as being helpful 😉
As you can see, I’m a fan of black of white and also linen (see sheets and apron). Of course, I don’t expect to get all of this but a girl can dream, right? Santa, are you listening?

Enough about me already. If you’re looking to give back this year instead of just get, and I hope you are, please consider gifting a charity that you connect with. I love to donate gifts through the Sick Kids Gifts That Give Back program. You could also donate to Rethink Breast Cancer (full disclosure, this is the non-profit I work for). We have a holiday campaign running until the end of the year, which provides a Give-A-Care package to a young person with breast cancer, for every $25 donation.
