Whenever I travel, I always have a list of food things to buy. Obviously a trip to London calls for Fortnum & Mason goodies, like tea and preserves, and chocolate. My first stop was at Harrods Food Hall, where the stafffers are dressed to the nines and the food stations are flawless and so inviting. Don’t even get me started on the flowers.
At Fortnum & Mason, I was so overwhelmed by the hoards of people (and my overflowing shopping basket and other bags) that I didn’t snap any photos! Below is a mishmash of items from Harrods, Fortnum’s and Marks and Spencer. I picked up The London Borough of Jam rhubarb and cardamom jam from Violet Bakery. I also bought some Planeta extra virgin olive oil from Nopi and Ploughman’s Chutney from M&S that have already been enjoyed and deemed not suitable for photographing.
Did you know rosemary water is a thing? I saw No. 1 Rosemary Water all over London. It’s touted for its anti-carcinogenic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and apparently good for your memory. It’s inspired by residents of Acciaroli, Italy who regularly consume the fragrant herb, and thus, seem to live longer and carefree. Sign me up.
